Members of the Shutter Room Gallery and Collective are invited to submit one or two new works that connect with our 2025/26 theme, Home.
What does the word home mean to you? A home can be literal, the place in which you live, but is not limited to this.
The concept of the home can be a smell, a taste, a person/s, a feeling, or a memory. A home is a universal construct and can look very different for each individual. Context, culture, gender and sexual identity can all be factors in what our homes look like.
We can have many homes throughout our lives, not just the place we reside.
We are asking our members to explore and represent what Home looks like to you.

Key dates:
Works accepted 22nd - 28th November 2025 or by arrangement
Works must be collected 1pm Saturday 31st January - Saturday 7th February 2026

Members are invited to submit:
• One or two new works
• Framed or unframed
• Works may be for sale
• No size or media restriction
Member are required to:
Complete this form in full by Saturday 15th November 2025
Ensure works are ready to hang with all fittings
Works must be labeled and arrive suitably wrapped
Collect unsold work by the 7th of Feb or by arrangement
The exhibition will be curated to include one or two works, depending on size and space. The curator reserves the right to decline works, and will bend over backwards to support you!
Please complete this form by Saturday 15th November 2025.
Works need to be delivered to the gallery during opening hours or to Angela by arrangement between the 22nd - 28th November 2025 or by arrangement, and collected within one weeks after exhibition ends, by 7th of February 2026 or by arrangement.
