Postcards Exhibition - the first week
We had 26 people through today (Saturday) and 22 for the three days previous. 2 people stayed for over an hour each, many stayed for 30 minutes or more and a few walked in round and out. Comments include: "I like the photos but some of the words are disgusting" These next two are back to back comments "It is very good but why is it so depressing and upsetting, where are the uplifting photos?"- 2 older ladies "Funny, quirky, amusing and interesting" - family group "It's interesting how much history is stored in postcards" - solo traveller "Oh my god, so many words, it's too dense and so hard to assimilate. One of those boards was enough to fill the whole gallery" - grey nomads "Why are the pictures so small, I know they are postcards but they should have been bigger - I'd give it 3 out of 10"- older American gent So if you haven't seen the exhibition that is depressing, quirky, disgusting, interesting, dense and small, get in and see it before it is too late. |
