Whangarei Camera Club is excited to show case this body of work created by club members.
Photographers often work in the digital world which makes the process of printing and displaying images in a gallery a great learning experience.
Creating an image can be as simple as using your cellphone to catch that special moment or the end result of planning and careful execution. Joining a camera club can help you develop your skill in an environment where everyone is learning and enjoying this very creative pastime.
The Whangarei Club meets twice a month at the St Johns Ambulance station on the first and third Thursday of every month. The theme of the meetings alternate between focusing on skill development and reviewing images that have been submitted for critiquing by one or more Judges. This provides practical feed back to the photographer. These session are invaluable to club members and really help people to see ways they can move forward with their photography.
Learning while having fun practicing the craft of photography with like minded people is our main goal.
